When are people going to realize that the war in Iraq is NOT the Presidents fault????

The President has MANY advisers. He didn't just wake up one day and say "Hey I think we should go to war with Iraq, that would be fun!!!" He had people advising him on what was going on, and what should be done. Sure that information given to him was wrong but that's not the Presidents fault! If a Democrat were in office right now, I believe we would still be at war. The President DOES have the final say BUT he is persuaded on what's best for the country. Do you honestly think the President would disagree with military officials? They are the ones with the expertise not the President (No matter who the President is!!!) No matter how silly you think the war is. The President is doing what's best for the soldiers and our country! Stand behind him and pray for him! I will support whoever is elected President!

  1. of course it wasnt just his decision..the entire bush administration is corrupt, and went to war under false pretenses. He is a crook, a liar, and he shouldnt even be president in the first place.. i hope they all go to prison

  2. No, You're right, he didn't... His Daddy did.

What makes you think anyone truly gives a toss about what's best for America, its soldiers and its president?.

I think that anyone who follows blindly like a sheep, is an idiot. Pray?, oh, that's right, the modern face of America, Fascism masquerading as a christian ideal.

    Makes me sick...

  3. I seem to remember Hillary voting for the war as well. A lot of people thought it was the right thing to do at the time.  Should we have pulled out earlier?  Maybe, but violence is at an all time low now.  You can only really know what the war is like if you have been involved in it.  The media will only show what is in it's best interests to get the most viewers.

  4. I don't know what planet you are living on but WE ARE STILL AT WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The US still has soldiers over there and they are still killing people, and because the president keeps sending more soldiers over there for no reason, my country and it's soldiers have to go over there and fight and die for no reason.  It is the presidents fault, he signs the papers that send more and more soldiers over there and he passed the bill for the war, and military officials support the war because they are part of the military and it is their job to protect the country, but the country isn't in danger anymore. The war is continuing and taking innocent people's lives because of the president. It is not needed. The president should be held accountable for every life of the US soldiers, Canadian soldiers and all the innocent people of Iraq, that has been taken over their, and he is responsible whether or not he was advised to do it. He was not given false information, he knew what he was getting into when he authorized the war.

  5. Um.. yes it is dude.

  6. When people stop thinking its the new hip thing to do is hate on Bush and say the war is over oil and such... That's why you have fifteen year olds thinking they know what the war is all about and believe they have world politics all figured out.

Don't you hippies realize the only way you have the right to spew your anti-american bull$^&t is because of soldiers and veterans who  fought in wars that alot of people thought were wrong like vietnam for instance, i'm so sick of this hippie c**p why don't you try serving for a little while and see if your c**p flies there. If you hate america and think its a fascist state then move to iraq and see how great life is over there!!!

  7. I believe the President was right in declaring war. According to the situation prevailing about a year before Iraq war, there was huge pile of weapons of mass destructions with Iraq government lead by late Saddam Hussain. USA warned him to destroy them soon otherwise they will be attacked.  There was no visible proof of destruction of these weapons by Iraq and USA and allied forces felt that Late Saddam was still hiding it some where in his country like underground bunkers specially made for this purpose or he has temporarily transhipped them to his friendly countries for safecustody. But after the war the allied forces could not trace any weapon on the soil of Iraq which indicates that Late Saddam Hussain had really destroyed them or  exported out of Iraq. It could be that it is so very well hidden still in some part of Iraq even today, who knows! Only Saddam Hussain knows!!!

So the war on this background story it fully justified as per the existing conditions right at that time and no one can blame President Bush.

  8. I agree. Any president has a team of advisers keeping him informed. All he can do is make a decision based upon the information available at the time.

  9. I will pray to the almighty that he bestow upon you the common sense

and good judgement that it appears you woefully lack, if you truly believe

that the fault lies somewhere other than with the president himself. The

"decider" and wartime president chose this course of action and purged any and all who were not "on board", including the military. To think otherwise is to truly stand reality on it's head.

  10. Why do you have to post this twice?  Well, I'll just copy and paste my old answer.

BS. Bush knew exactly what he was doing. His advisers were just in on it with him.

  11. I too have wondered this many times. As far as I know it is Congress that determines war. True the President can say no, but then Congress can say yes and then its war. It is just easier for people to try and blame 1 person than all of Congress. Another thing that I have wondered is why most everyone was FOR it in the beginning and now against it. It could be the same reason why American flags were very seldom seen BEFORE 9/11 and then afterward everyone decides to be patriotic. Would people be against the war if we had gotten involved, had no deaths, and won in a short period of time ? I doubt it.

  12. He is the "decider";  ultimately it was his decision.

President Bush believes that he made the right decision.

Who are you to make excuses for him?

  13. Whether you are a fan of the war in Iraq or not, The Buck Stops Here.

  14. He didn't just wake up one day and say "Hey I think we should go to war with Iraq, that would be fun!!!"

    Are you quite sure?

  15. I agree with you. Also congress had to vote and agree with president for him to proclaim war.
