When are ricke krispie squares cool enough?

i wait about 5-10 minutes before i eat them. they are so delicious. i think i'll make some tomorrow. hehe.

They should be cool to the touch...proceed with caution and when you cut them, the marshmallow should cut nicely.  If you are getting too hard rice Krispies - reduce the Krispies by 1/2 cup.

They cool VERY quickly - ready to eat in less than 5 minutes!

Personally, I like them when they have cooled, but not hardened.  I like them gooey.

Whatever way you like them as long as you don't burn yourself.  The longer you let them set, the harder they become.  They will cut and hold their shape better when they have hardened.
