When are the Preakness and Belmont Stakes?

NBC will be carrying both races as far as I know. The dates for the races are May 19 for the Preakness ( post time approximately 5pm EDT) and June 9 for the Belmont. (post time again is about 5pm EDT. ) Check your local listings for the NBC affiliate station closest to you. Have a good time watching !!!

The Preakness will be run on Saturday May 19 (not this weekend, but next weekend).  It will air on NBC (all the morning coverage will be on ESPN...  from noon until 5 or so when NBC takes over.  NBC will probably start at 5, but I'm not sure...  just watch ESPN and when their coverage stops, change to NBC)  The actual race will run shortly after 6.

The Belmont is June 9 (3 weeks after the Preakness).  Morning coverage on ESPN.  Coverage of the actual race is on ABC...  and again, likely around 5, but unsure exactly...  again, the race is run shortly after 6.  On a personal note, I'll be at a horse show that day, so I'll be watching from my tiny portable tv!  it's better than nothing!

I know for sure that the Preakness is airing on NBC. I don't quite know about the Belmont, that might air on NBC too if not then for sure it will air on TVG and HRTV.
