When are the best times of week/day to go to a theme park (6 Flags Great America)?

The 6 Flags I'm talking about is the one in Gurney, Illinois. I would assume Tues-Thurs are the best days, but because the theme park also includes a waterpark now, which times of day are the best to get on rollercoasters with small lines?

i have always found that the mornings are best..

First of all...it is Gurnee! But anyways....it doesnt really matter. There is usually never short lines for anything. However, the weekends will be worse than weekdays! And the waterparks is usually always at max capacity with a long line to get in.
