  1. never, for the obvious reasons.

  2. Never because there are just not enough serious cyclists for anyone to justify the expense.  I doubt if there are any statistics but I would guess these days at least 95% of 'cyclists' are just local travellers. About the only distance cyclists now are serious club members whether road racing or cycle touring, but the numbers are miniscule related to overall cycle ownership.

  3. It was that idiot John Prescott who promoted the cycle lane. His Parliamentary constituency was Hull. Now, that is about as flat as you can get without falling into the North sea. I live and work in the Huddersfield and Halifax area, the place is awash with them ( and bus lanes) guess what ? They are virtually empty all day long !! That guy has some explaining to do !!!!

  4. this will happen when the gov give motorist cash discounts at the petrol pumps for how many of the b******s they knock down

  5. Word to yer mutha!

I agree wholeheartedly that motorways should have a cycle lane, just as soon as they start making the b******s pay tax, MOT & insurance & issue riding licenses after taking appropriate tests!

  6. if all of the cyclists gave up their bikes for cars....the roads would be more clogged up...so stop moaning - you should thank the cyclists!!

  7. Its already there. Ok most folk call it the hard shoulder but i saw a cyclist going south on the northbound carraigeway not so very long back.
