When are the olympic trials for volleyball??

The US men's team already qualified for Beijing by finishing in the top 3 at the FIVB World Cup last year.

for indoor volleyball:

it passed already

like a few weeks ago, i forget

but it was the women's USA team vs. Brazil's team

brazil won 3 out of 5 sets i believe

i'm not 100% sure about the scores, but Brazil definitely won

they played one more friendly game to make sure and the USA team won that one, but unfortunately it didnt count.

Steve and Maria D are correct.  Since indoor is a team sport, the team is formed and adjusted all year long.  Actually, all 4 years between the Olympics.  

And the outdoor doubles have just finished as well.  This is also a year long process with the top 8 points teams will go to the Olympics next month.

No trials for indoor VB Olympic team. They are playing in the Grand Prix tournament in China right now. They will use this to finalize the 12 player roster for the Olympics. They are doing very good with a 6-1 record and second place right now.

Beach trials are over and they consisted of winning or placing 2nd at qualifying FIVB tournaments around the world. Walsh/May-Trainer and Branagh/Youngs are the female teams going to China.

Phil Dalhausser/Todd Rodgers and Sean Rosenthal/Jake Gibb are going for the men
