Will it be on the 18th of July, beacause that is the 90th anniversary of their death, or another time. If it is on the 18th, or any other date please let me know as I am a huge fan of the Romanovs. Also give me the exact time and any television channels it will be featured on.

Thanks!!

  1. They were buried already.

It was a hasty affair, done in 1998. DNA samples were taken, but the burial was a disappointment. I have not heard about any new services as of yet. I think it would be fitting to have better services for the family.

  2. Human remains found near Yekaterinburg in July 1991 were later identified as those of the Tsar, some of his family, and their servants. Those remnants were buried at the Peter and Paul Cathedral in St Petersburg (July 1998).

However -- In July 2007, separate remains were found -- and recently in April 2008, it was announced that DNA linked the remains to the Tsarevich Alexei and his sister, the Grand Princess Maria.  The present location of these remains was not clear in any of the articles that I read.  It sounds as if politics between the Church and the Government are delaying any burial or services in the short term.
