When are the school summer holidays - UK?

Anyone know roughly when the 6 week school holidays start this year.

Usually from about 23 July until the first week of September. Where I live, the last day of term this year is 18 July.

In Scotland it tends to be the end of June to the around the 14th August roughly I remember this cos my nephew's birthday is on the 16th Aug and he always had to go back to school the day before or just a few days before his birthday.  In N.Ireland when I was little (a while ago) we went back the beg of Sept so it can differ depending where you are.  The UK summer hols are always about 6 weeks long.

The school term dates should be on the website of your Local Authority, it might also be quicker to speak to the Nursery.
