  1. we have 3 meals, breakfast which is usually between 7am and 10am, there's lunch from 12noon until around 130pm and dinner which is around 4-6pm

  2. We basically eat three courses, but it's a bit different for children. We all go to work or school around 7:00 AM, so breakfast is before so or a bit after, usually something simple such as coffee, oatmeal, corn flakes. On weekends breakfast is fancier with ojaldas (fried bread), empanadas (corn meal pockets filled with meat), sausage, eggs, bacon, etc.

Lunch time is around noon for many workers and a bit before for school children. School children have, instead of lunch, "snack time". They have a small sandwich, some fruit and cookies, or milk or a bag of chips, plantains or a little empanada. Adults usually have fast food or eat at their cafeteria, unless they bring it packed.

Traffic is heavy now a days, so adults usually have dinner around 6:00 or 7:00 PM. Children have, sometimes, lunch when they come home or go straight to a heavy dinner.

Hope this helps, we barely have brunches unless we are at Church. Then, it is very common for everyone to bring food.
