When are we going to demand Free Energy? I know there is proof that we can have it so when will it happen?

Some energy sources, like the sun, are free.  However, it takes resources and energy to tap and distribute the energy from these sources.  In a free market economy, energy costs will never be free to consumers.  Even if you harness your own energy on your private plot of land, you have to invest in capital goods and labor to make use of this energy.

when gas prices reach 7 dollars and everyone is fed up with gas or when oil runs out
