When are we going to do something about illegal immigration?

Here we have members of the Mexican Army invading our country committing home invasions and homicides. They also said they were willing to ambush Phoenix police. When will our Government "leaders" finally do something to STOP illegal immigration. In fact, isn't this an act of war? One sovereign nation's army invading another's?

  1. When Americans start demanding more from their leaders and quit being trapped by the two party charade.

In November the majority of McCain votes will not be because they think McCain's that great but to keep Obama out. Similar there are issues on the left that get addressed by no one but still supporters will vote Obama to keep McCain out. Republicans and Democrats are very different in rhetoric only.Tom Tancredo  and Dennis Kucinich  clearly have different ideas but once they're in Washington their voices are marginalized and Kennedy and McCain come with a "compromise". That's the dynamic, not only on illegal immigration but lots of issues. The RNC considers the anti illegal immigration vote a given so why would they really make an effort? That's the American political system.

  2. "home invasions and homicides" are committed by all kinds of people, not just "illegal Mexican immigrants".

Ha! You want to talk about INVASIONS?!?!?! President James Polk stole California (and much more) from Mexico by violent force, just a few generations ago. Now we pass laws making it illegal for most Mexicans to live and work here, and forcibly remove them when they cross the border "illegally" (having exhausted all legal means for entry).

Maybe you're just uncomfortable with the heavy immigrant population in your area. Most Mexicans that come here "illegally" are very hard workers that work for little money. The country needs them, so, no, they're NOT going away.
