When are you too old to get pregnant?

Question

I so want to have another baby. Only I am on the down slide of a bad relationship, and I am 37! I read that 35 up, fertility decreases a lot. (plummets according to one newspaper)

I figure by the time I meet someone else, and ask for their sperm, lol, and oh please stick around as I dont want to do this all on my own, I might be 40! Please give me advice and stories of becoming pregnant post 35.
