When arguing with your BF/GF do they always think they are right ?

how do you cope with this when you know you are not in the wrong but they cant see what they have done wrong??? is it easier to just forget about it or continue to state your point?

he doesnt say that he is right cuz he knows that i m always right but what p**s me off that he cant admit his mistakes and finds ways to put the blame on me!

Me and my boyfriend always have this problem! its funny really but can be annoying at the time!

I think he knows he is wrong, but stands up for himself in a bid to wind me up more.... MEN!

just remember when someone points a finger at someone they also point a thumb at them selves but it is good to agree to dis agree if you know what i mean but us men do know everything (NOT) lol

They absolutely think they are right, otherwise they wouldn't be putting so much effort into their argument.

Gawd when me and my bf argue we can go on for hours and hours.

Coz tbh we both think were right, its like trying to squeeze blood from a stone for us to both listen lol.

I just cant back dne, and an argument needs to be resolved that day. Or i stay up all night worring or thinking about it

It's really hard to be in a relationship with someone who never admits he/she is wrong.  I just say what Dr. Phil says, "Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy"?  Sometimes it has nothing to do with the subject of the discussion, it has to do with someone who can't be wrong.

give some time for both to cool off and think about the other side's argument.

then repeat.

lots of info is sent across during an argument. it takes time to absorb and consider them, and even more time before one can calm down from an argument into a mood ready to consider other's opinions.

worst thing you can do is act holier-than-thou. all that proves is you're the bigger baby.

Generally in arguments each party think they're right, that's the point!

As to if you should let it go or not, that depends on how important it is. Pick your battles, that sort of thing.

who cares if they think they are right? lol theyre clearly wrong ;) just forget about it and tell them they are stupid cuz they cant see ur point ;) then go do what you want =D lol
