" I'm just surprised that she beat me to it ". Do you think Serena will make a bigger impact than Ashley? and do you looking forward to see Serena on Playboy in the future?

I'm sure it would be a spectacle if Serena did it, those announcers can never stop talking about Serena if she isn't even at a tournament. Everyone knows that Serena always has new tricks up her sleeve,and besides I believe she already did appear naked in Jane magazine not quite sure when, but everything Serena does is always controversial, but the press can't get enough of her. If she wants to do it, then she should.

Serena is assuming that Playboy would want her to pose.  She doesn't have the body for Playboy, in my opinion.  She has too manly of a physique.

Serena likes to toy with the media and is doing so again. Though I love her for it and love her period. Though she had done a nude pic for Jane magazine last year or so, that was just from the back, with a towel or something draped around her waist slightly. Her enemies will say she woudl be foolish for doign a nude pic, but she is quite solid, just thick boned, not fat. Huge difference. Harkleroad chose to do this, and in a way will bring more attention to tennis. Both good and bad, but to each their own. If Serena ever does go for such a choice, it well sell more, only due to the fact she is more popular and even her non fans are curious.

Also I need to add one slight thing. Some say she has no drive to play tennis and concentrates too much on her personal endeavors. I fidn that hard to believe, especially after last season, and durign this season  when she said she is committed to tennis. She must be, for she  has won 4 or 5 tournaments already this season, and has risen back up to number 5.

Gosh talk about telling half a story.  Asker you ought to be ashamed of yourself for misleading people when you should have included the entire story:

Serena was full of admiration for Harkleroad’s naked ambition when she was told about the Los Angeles photoshoot.

“I’m just surprised that she beat me to it,” Serena, no stranger to the camera lens herself, joked with reporters.

“I’m happy for her if that’s what she wanted to do. It takes a lot of courage. And whether I’m courageous enough, I don’t know, but that’s great for someone to be so courageous and tough.”

Would Serena be following in the footsteps of Harkleroad, U.S. swimmer Amanda Beard and volleyball player Gabrielle Reece and bare all for Playboy?

“I can’t say right now it’s in any thought of my mind to be in that mag. I do appreciate that mag. I think (Playboy owner) Hugh Hefner is a great businessman.”

You never thought that she could just be having a laugh did you? I wouldn't be suprised if she was joking (posing nude for one magazine is different than posing nude for Playboy).
