When asking questions why don't people state where they are from?

When asking questions why don't pple say which country they are from - it is usually relevant to the answers!

By the way I reside in Australia!

It appears most people are attempting to clarify an issue on where they are going. My guess is that it would be easily apparent when a Chamber of Commerce type were to use this forum.

I agree... I get perturbed when people ask about where to go on the cheap and then they don't say where they are located. It's all relative.

I live in heart of the USA.... Toledo, Ohio (I tell people it's a suburb of Detroit... we're only 50 miles away)

Because your answer may be biased based on the asker country, rather being a universal answer.

That is a good question! I seem to answer it depends on where you are from<  From The U.S.A.  I have lived in  many of our states and traveled through many.  North Carolina now and Texas before South Carolina , Minnesota COLD,  Georgia Hello From  The U.S
