When asking questions why don't people state where they are from?

When asking questions why don't pple say which country they are from - it is usually relevant to the answers!

By the way I reside in Australia!

  3. It appears most people are attempting to clarify an issue on where they are going. My guess is that it would be easily apparent when a Chamber of Commerce type were to use this forum.

  6. I agree... I get perturbed when people ask about where to go on the cheap and then they don't say where they are located. It's all relative.

    I live in heart of the USA.... Toledo, Ohio (I tell people it's a suburb of Detroit... we're only 50 miles away)

  7. Because your answer may be biased based on the asker country, rather being a universal answer.
