When at the movie theater with my friend that I like...?

Would it freak her out if I suddenly held her hand? We're seeing The Dark Knight, and she said she said that if she got scared, she'd "cower in my shoulder". Also, how do I even hold her hand? I mean, do I just grab it while it's on the arm rest, or is there some kind of technique? lol I probably sound like a dork, but I've never really done this before...help?

you could start by putting your arm around her --- and having your hand on her arm/shoulder then move it after a while... play with her hand and eventually just slip your fingers through hers :) she will be like awweee lol have fun!!!!!!! im jealous i cant wait to see that movie!

Okay just make sure the arm rest between u guys is up

then at the right moment put your arm around hers

if she doesnt move it then shes liking it

then maybe later you can hold her hand

when i went out to the movies one time my bf (hes my ex now)  he put the arm rest up before we sat down lol

then we looked at each other and he put his arm around me

then his other hand was on his leg so i took his hand and we held hands like that for the entire movie

it was soooo cute!!

face her during the movie - and if her arm is on the arm rest, just simple whisper 'can i..?' in her ear, then if she looks confused, smile, while picking up her hand with you furthest away arm, and placing it ontop of the palm of the hand closest to you.

it'll be better than making her jump..

if her hand is on the arm rest put your hand next to it be sure not to knock her off though and be a little flirtatous and when or if she cowers in your shoulder put your hand on her back or around her if she likes you or feels comfterble around you she'll let you if she is weirded out she just doesnt like you like that
