When booking a flight, how can you make sure the seats are together?

I'm going to be using Hotels.com to book my flight. I am probably not going to book until a month before which could lead to there not being 2 seats together, but I was wondering if there was a way to see if they are together or to get two seats together. Should I call and have someone do this? Thanks!!

  1. Usually there is an option to pick your seats (as with Continental.com)... But I have easily skimmed over it before, so just read everything as you go along... Otherwise you can just log back in & select the option to "change your seat selection."   Since you're booking through Hotels.com, I'm not sure how it works... I would imagine they'll offer the option, but just to be sure, I would call the 1-800 number on the website & ask a representative.

  2. you get your seat numbers when you check into a flight so just make sure you let the check-in assistant know you want to be seated together so get there early.
