  1. No. You will actually save your throw out bearing by doing this. It's a good practice.  Keep it up!

  2. if you throw it up in neutral before coming to a stop, you don,t have to use the clutch, but you will have to push it in to get it in first gear.

  3. why are you braking in neutrel? if the clutch pedal is in you aren't engaging the clutch.

  4. If its in neutral you do not need to depress the clutch pedal when you are braking.

  5. NO

  6. if your in neutral you don't need to have your foot on it this will cause premature wear on the throw out bearing you only need to use the clutch when its still in gear, good luck

  7. Can you not feel when the clutch is slipping?  That's what wears the clutch - that moment that is slips.  If you leave it alone, or push it to the floor, either way, there is no wear.

So do both of those things (that don't cause wear) when you stop at a stop sign.  You can choose when to switch between leaving it along and pushing it to the floor, but you'll need to do both.

P.S. Braking in neutral is crazy.  Don't do that.  Brake in the gear you were in when you started braking.
