When burning a video onto a disc...what disc should be used? ?

I tried to burn a video onto DVD-R but it didn't work.

DVD+R

It may not have worked because the video wasn't compiled with DVD  coding software.  If the original video is in .avi or some other format, you can simply copy it to DVD, but it may not play in your DVD player.

u need to know what type od disc ur burnner can burn.sometimes , disc depends on the brand that is compatible with ur burner.uneed to invest to find out which one is the best n stick to it.good luck.
