I am considering buying a 2006 Keystone Cougar RV (model 302RLS) which presently exists in a campground, and would stay where it is. I would be buying it, in place and set up, and simply take over the camp land rental site fees. ....Do sales tax, tags, licences, or other expenses apply to this used RV purchase? I would be buying it from private unknown owners, and do not know how to go about this transaction, and I am afraid of being took! ...HELP!!! ..and THANKS!!!

  1. Yes you will have to pay tax on the rv because you will have to get the title to the rv put in your name and when you do this they will charge you sales tax. Call your local county court clerks office and they will tell you how much the tax will be. Keep in mind it needs to be put in your name so you can buy insurance on the rv
