  1. longer you take to pay.. longer the goods take to go out..

i would never send anything out without cleared payment first..

I'm not signed up to ebay, but would always check the validity of mails "supposidly" sent from ebay when they are not from ebay at all.

  2. You can leave it for a few days if you like although they obviously won't send the goods until they've received cleared payment.  Some auctions do specify that payment must be made immediately, but generally it doesn't have to be.

  3. most people will state the time you have from the end of the auction to when you have to pay but i would get in touch with the seller first and let them know you wouldn't be able to pay for a day or two. they will then let you know if its ok. the usal time stated is between 3-7 days after the auction.

as a general rule the better the comunication between the 2 of you. the more understanding the seller is.

just don't take the mick, they are less understanding after waiting for longer than you stated

if you have a paypal account linked to your bank account you can pay straight away as it won't leave you're bank for 3/4 days anyway

  4. It depends on the seller, you'll have to check out their policy before you bid. If you have a paypal account set up, you can pay right away very easily. Most sellers request payment within 7 days of end of auction, though some say 3 days, just depends on the seller.

  5. Well i pay by postal order and sometimes i cant get to the post office for a few days ( i win on a Friday and the post office is not open til the Monday) I just send them an email letting them know and everything is fine.

  6. usually payment is required within 7 days.  i think that;s a long enough timescale for anyone!

  7. Read the description/instruction from the seller, all seller have different requirement

  8. You do not have to pay for the item right away, but make sure to find out how much time the seller gives you before he or she relists the item and gives you a negative feedback.  Most sellers give you 7 days, especially if you are paying with a money order.  Some seller who only accept paypal, may only give you three days because that is a fairly fast transaction.

  9. In my experience, you can leave it for a day before paying, as long as the listing doesn't state "payment within 24 hours" or whatever time frame the seller has set. I wouldn't leave it any longer than that though, the seller might well report you for being a non-paying bidder.

  10. I think you have like 5 to 7 days to pay.  If you can't pay then, you need to keep in contact with the seller so they won't resale your item or give you bad marks.

  11. You can leave it for up to 7 days although I dont recommend it.

    The next day is fine.

Doent matter what the seller has put on their listing about 'payment must be made in 48 hours' etc, they cant DO anything until the 7 days are up.

  12. I always pay the same day, as the goods don't get sent until you pay.  I use Paypal which is the safest way over the internet but you can send a cheque or postal order.  If you are going to use this method of payment you should inform the seller that payment is on the way and which method.  An email will suffice for this.  If you are too long in paying you could be marked as a non-payer and this would affect your ability to bid and buy.  As long as you keep the seller informed you will be fine.  My Paypal account went down and I had trouble sending payment to China but I emailed them and explained the problem, which took a few days to sort out, and everything was fine.  Payment sent, goods received.
