Do you stand and wait for the cashier to finish counting before you leave or do you just walk straight out after you hand over the bundle of coins?

  1. I wait.  Just in case I shorted her. -T

  2. first, i make sure that I have the exact amount of change. If i'm like 5 cents short (i live in AUS where 5 cents is the lowest amount of money that you can get) then i just walk out of the store while they count.

  3. I've never been that broke, yet.

  4. You have to wait while they count it. I work in a mini-mart and see this quite a bit.

  5. I never pay with large amounts of change.

For some reason though, I'm always stuck in line behind people that do.

  6. Im not sure the of the last time that i used change to pay for something. I would wait though.

  7. I normally don't buy things with large amounts of coins! I'd wait though, if I were in that position.

  8. i watch them count it, im a pretty honest person anyways.

  9. while dealing with finance in any form...we should be alert..I'll wait for him to count the coins..

  10. they giev us the stuf aftre they count teh chang

  11. i count it in front of them, and then i leave.

if she/he wasnt fast enough to keep up when i did it the first time, they should think of changing careers.

  12. I count along in a loud, singsong tone of voice. They love it.

  13. I have a limit on how many coins I can use. I won't use more than a dollar in change and mos tof it would be in dimes and quarters not nickels and pennies. I think it is rude to the customer and the cashier because of making other people wait that have when people are always in rush these days. Just because it's not illegal or against the law it is unthoughtful for other people waiting. Go get it changed from a coinstar first and get it into cash bills for everyone's sake. If you have to count coins either you need to get a job or you are living beyond you means and should start saving.

If you leave before the cashier counts your coins you look like a criminal. What if you don't have enough now the cashier has to put their money or count it as  a lost. If you choose to use coins you better have the patience to wait till the counting is done. If the cashier is super slow you can help the cashier count them however this somtimes confuses them more and pisses them off because you're pretting much telling them they can count by doing that. Best thing to do is avoid of all of this in the first place but using bills or debit card.

  14. i wait :)

i like to make sure i have the right coins cause it would be sorta embarrasing to get called back to give more money

  15. I never use a whole bundle of coins.  I usually have a huge collection weighing me down.  It is too embarrassing to make the cashier and everyone behind me wait while i count out the coins and then the cashier recounts them.  Also, knowing my luck I would be 5cents short and have to hand over a notes after all that!

  16. I watch them count it

  17. Take off encase you dont have enough.
