Struth, according to Strachan, both Caldwell and McManus could only be replaced by a player costing £15 million.

So I can't see him being dropped unless Puyol, Nesta or Ferdinand arrive before the weekend.

You never know, though.

I actually think he has been playing better than McManus, although I can't see Strachan dropping his captain. So i think Loovens may have to make do with another few weeks on the sidelines

to be honest if Caldwell is injured we may see Loovens get a run out....

not a Caldwell fan myself but he does a job and he does it to a standard that got us the league....
