  1. That sounds like an awesome idea. I started surfing a few years ago (when I was 13)

I still don't think I'm ready for pipeline, but if you've been surfing for 10 years, and you think you are ready, then you should go for it!

  2. If you can get there, and you have a surfboard, do it. You will be living out a million surfers fantasies. Now, when you say "everyone" tells you you are too young, if that means your parents, you have to respect their wishes, and understand that they don't want to see you get hurt. However, if you have the skill to do, demonstrate to them that you can be careful and responsible in other things (school work, chores, behavior) and it will make it easier for you to convince them that you are responsible enough to do it, and not just be taking foolish chances.

  3. advanced my *** mate u need barrel and big wave experience....and a lot ov it...pipeline isnt a place to mess around with ppl die there its like saying a beginer trying to surf teopue its not gona happen u may think ur good but that place will eat u up and spit u out and cheese grate u over the reef with no care at all...mabe when ur 17 18 years ov age then try to tackle pipeline other than that ur to young to even think about even thinkin tryin to surf that place dont b a hero stay true to ur self out in the surf push ur self to limit but not to that far as pipe ay :)

  4. do it man

i know i should of done it earlier

    i started when i was almost 19

  5. it's super localized, so if you can get out there with someone who's familiar to the spot that's a great way to start.  Also, go out with mad respect for everyone in the line-up.  Sit and wait until someone lets you go.  And, if you really think you're ready, that first wave someone hands to you, which granted won't be an epic Slater 10 point barrel ride, you have to prove you rip!  If you fall first go round chances are the line-up will take you as a joke and that'll be it for the day.  Try going out on a less than perfect day so the line up's not "pro-heavy".  Have fun and good luck!  If it's what you want to do, go for it!

  6. Go for it and have fun. many people only dream of surfing pipeline.
