When can I conceive?

My last period started on August 24, and I have a 29 day cycle. What are the best days to BD? Would I be like people with a 28 day cycle and go by the day 14 thing?

You will be ovulating on the 6th until the 11th dr's suggest that you have s*x ever other day while ovulating. I would recommend having s*x 2 days before you ovulate like on the 4 and then again on the 6 and again on the 8 and then on the 11th. It's your best chance. By having s*x ever other day, it increases your chance of having a higher sperm count

Even with a regular cycle, you never know exactly when you ovulate. Very few people with a 28 day cycle ovulate on day 14. You do, however, ovulate right around that time.

My best suggestion to you would be to have intercourse every other day from day 10 (September 7.) to day 16 (September 13.).

Remember, after ovulation the egg stays in the fallopian tube waiting for the sperm for 24 hours.

Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to 5 days (but usually around 3 days).

BUT having intercourse on the day of ovulation is usually too late as it takes the sperm a while to travel all the way up to the egg.
