  1. She will most likely say Mama or Dada.  But all babies are different she may say "No" at first- you never know.  It won't be long before she starts saying words if she is babbling like that already.  Congratulations!

  2. milk, mom, daddy, baba    Things along those  lines

  3. My daughter is 8 months old and she says mamama and dadada, sometimes bababa. She has been saying that for about a month. Your baby's (and mine) first 'real' word, probably won't be said until about 1 year old. You should by the book What to Expect the First Year, it's by the same ppl that wrote what to ecpect when your expecting. It has lots of great tips!

  4. Most babies don't start saying actual words until they are about a year old.  Being a girl, it could be sooner, seeing as how girls learn to talk sooner than boys in general.  Some babies don't start talking until they are almost 2, be patient, every child is different.  But PLEASE, remember one important thing...your child isn't going to pronounce bottle, or blanket or any other word unless you pronounce it correctly.  Yes, baby talk is cute, ie...baabaa or bankie, but not when it comes out of an adult.

  5. There's not a cut-and-dry answer!  Every child is different and shouldn't be compared!  But there are milestones....the aproximate age that a child will do something.

She should say something around 6-8 months.  It will most likely be Dada.  That's just odds...it's easier to say then mama.  It might even be "no", "ball", "bird"...etc.  You never really know!

Don't worry about it, just have fun with the sounds and things she does now!  They grow up TOO FAST!!!

  6. Different for every baby but around 9 months for many.  But my baby says oh yeah and mommay.  I dont know if it is on purpose but he is 4 mths too!

  7. You have a few more months to go before she actually says Mama or Dada. My son is 9 months old and just said his first word a few weeks ago. Which was Bye Bye! After that he then said Mama and Dada. So be patient and keep saying those words to her and she will surprise you one day when she says something! Good luck!

  8. About 6-9months and the word is likely to be what she hears the most so say the word often that you want to hear.

  9. As much as people like to think their babies will talk early Usually the first word come around 10 months to a year old. Go on line & check out life span development (the early years- infancy) There is a lot of info out there

  10. It depends what word she probably hears the most.  She not going to say a word she never heard before.

  11. few more months and letters like M, B, D..so mama dada...things like that

  12. I bet her first word will be mmmmmaammmmmaaaa...that's usually the first word baby utters...my 4 month old son is like that too..last monday he was able to say mama....i know that was accidental..but I was soooo happy...

  13. my son said his first real word at about 7 months but every child is different, if she is babbling all those sounds she is doing great!!! what ever sound she hears most and is easiest to say will probably say first. My son did all the babbaling too, and sometimes it sounded like he said a word but the first time he identified a word with an object was BALL at 7 months then non stop from then on. now he is 2 1/2 and has a tested vocabulary of 48 months.

  14. Usually and sadly DADA is first, well sad for the MAMA.  Mama is much harder to say, so it takes a while.  My sons said their first words at 6 months, and my daughter at 9 months...so all kids are different.
