  1. In the first lot only those whose return was processed by April 15, 2008 are getting the rebate.

Go to www.irs.gov. Click Where is my Refund? Then click Status of my Stimulus Rebate. or  #01-866-234-2942

For information on stimulus tax rebate read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/04/list...

  2. I'm pretty sure it's based on 2 things... the last two digits of your social security # and mail vs. direct deposit which should have been there a while a go so I'm assuming you are getting the chech snail mail.

My boyfriend is still waiting for his...

866-234-2942  call  to find out the status of your check?... but they are mailing them until July 11th so I wouldn't panic yet.

  3. The first batch of checks for those with SSN through 75 were mailed in June.

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than:

    76 through 87 July 4

    88 through 99 July 11

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule, you may not get it until early the next week.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

If you filed near the April 15 deadline, then you will not receive your rebate until later, probably August.
