When can I start dating again?

My wife and I have been separated for about three months. I am not sure if my wife is dating but I think there is another man in her life. I have a friendship with a woman that I met through work. We used to work together and now I am doing a new job. I have emailed her just to chat. Thinking of asking her out. Is it too soon?

make sure that she has another man in her life first and if she does you need to get divorced. don't ever do something with someone else when still married. its cheating. even if separated. unless you two have told each other you can date while separated.

dude no one can tell you when you are ready. just make sure all the wounds from the previous relationship are healed, so they do not carry over to this new one.

Look, It should be when you feel comfortable dating again, and don't worry about what your wife is doing, because that should not be the bases of this question. And be patient, that helps unfortunately. Because if you jump into it to early and you find someone else, and you ruin something that could have been later, now, you will be upset.
