if a juvenile is convicted of a felony before the age 17 when is it legal for him/her to purchase/own a firearm?

  1. When they're of legal age if the record is cleared upon them turning 18.


  2. Depends on the state the felony ocured in. I don't think any felon can purchase or own firearms until the felony has been either pardoned by a court of law or if all charges are cleared on the turning of 18(unless the felon was charged as an adult). I'd google it or something but that sounds just about right.

  3. Not until the felon has been pardoned by the Govenor of your state and your civil rights restored.

    Even then you are still a convicted felon.
