When can a person who is a heavy smoker have an other cigarette after having their tonsils removed ?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old male who has been a heavy smoker since the age of 15. I just had my tonsils removed ( for reasons not even related to smoking) exactly one week ago. My doctor never specified when i could have one after the surgery. And he is on vacation this week so i can't ask him.

  1. I used to work for an ENT and we suggested at least 2 weeks before smoking the sucking sensation can hurt a great deal and can cause bleeding


  2. wow... btw it's illegal to smoke before the age of 18! and it's stupid to smoke!!! smoking kills u!!!!! so don't start again!!!!!
