  1. hmm not sure, think its about 6-7month

  2. I read that they start hearing muffled sounds at about 16 weeks and can fully recognise outside noises at 24 weeks.

  3. Actually it is between 24 & 26 weeks.  Congrats on your little one :)

  4. on baby centre website it says they can hear from about 18-20weeks..

my daughter was the same with a song that i used to play she would settle to that certain song.. so it does work !! x

  5. I read this on this site.  They can start to recognize the mothers voice at 20 weeks.  Here is the site if you would like to look at it!

And I know when I was like 6 months, I went to drop a video off at blockbuster and when I was walking back to the car, my husband accidently honked the horn and she jumped as soon as he did that.  It was pretty funny, lol.

  6. When they are 7 months and above.

  7. Beginning around 26 weeks or so, although loud noises at 22 weeks can make them jump- but it's probably really the sound wave than the actual sound itself at that point.  I'm 28 weeks today, and 2 weeks ago is when the baby books say the baby can hear beyond mom's inner organ sounds (heart beat, stomach, etc.) to hear dad's voice or music.  I'm carrying twins, and my husband and I each took turns playing our favorite songs to see which baby would react to which songs.  Baby A favors his music, and Baby B favors mine!  We'll see if that continues once they are born!  He also has begun talking to them daily so they will recognize his voice and mine when they are born.

  8. when they grow ears? o.o

  9. they can't hear anything until the ears get a little developed...but around 18-20 weeks they can start to hear muffled outside noises

(around 16 weeks they can hear moms heartbeat)

but the farther along you get the more they can hear!

They will reconize the mother and fathers voices as the pregnancy progresses.

  10. I have read that at 7 months they can hear sounds outside the womb

  11. Not sure when they actually start to hear things but I believe they can. I remember when I was about 6 or 7 months pregnant and I went to a show. When the music started it was really loud and my baby jumped!!

  12. Yeah baby's can hear sounds from inside the womb as soon as their ears are formed properly, I think it is around 6-7 months. They can even hear their families voices, music and stuff like that. That's why some people sing, read or just talk to their babies whilst still in the womb.

EDIT: I listened to music a lot whilst i was pregnant, my son loves it now. he loves being sung to, it really settles him down
