When can i get my permit?

Im 14 yrs old nd i want to know when i get my permit. i live in illinois nd my b-day is feb 12 1994 so can u help. do i get my permit when i turn 15 or what?

go get a book from dmv and look it up, or you could look it up on line to find out

You can take drivers ed when your 14 and 6months and you have to do like 24hours of it. Then when your 15 you can take the driving part, if you pass you get your permit.

When you have your permit you most have an person over 18 with a liscense in the car that is not a sibling.

And I think you can't have anyone younger than 18 in the car too, but that might just be for some states

when your 16 you can officially get your liscense (:

and if you don't get it when your 16 you have to wait until your 18

15 if you've taken driver's ed. i think. but get a book from the dmv and look up the guide lines for your state about permits.
