When can i move out please help

k im turning 18 next year and was wondering if i could move out but i have one more year of high school when im 18 (held back a year once) so can i move or do my parent need to sign something or wat

  1. You can move out at 18.  

    If you move out, you will have to be able to support yourself, so you might as well stick with school until you can graduate. The other option would be to see what it takes to get a GED, which would probably carve some time off that.

    Either way, you will need money for deposits for a modest apartment and utilities, so you need to work and save some money. Start shopping for apartments to see what you are up against price-wise. If you can't earn enough money for your own place, you will need to reconfigure your plans... can you put together a room-mate arrangement or find a small garage apartment? You need facts.

    If the numbers are not crunching right, consider getting into a vocational program at your community college while you live with your parents... they have lots of 2 year degree programs that will help quick-start you into a real career path and real paychecks. Also check for financial aid programs.
