  1. You should wait until a baby is 6 months old before introducing solids.  And until 12 months, solid foods are mostly for practice - All the nourishment a baby needs comes from breastmilk/formula  :)

  2. Solids shouldnt be fed to a young one until about 5-6 months old. They have mesh food protectors shaped like pacifiers at target that you can put food in and they can suck on the food/chomp on it, and it will only go through the mesh when it's small enough for them to swallow.

  3. You can start feeding him solids when he is 6 months. This is the recommended age unless his pediatrician says otherwise.

  4. When he turns 6 months preferably.

Or between 4-6 ONLY if he's ready.

  5. Doctors say you can start feeding them baby food at 4 months. I'd start with just rice cereal in the morning. Talk to your doctor to get baby on a feeding plan. Good Luck

  6. It is fine, but I wouldn't start feeding him anything without checking with your dr. Obviously there are foods that are recommended for babies at 4-6 months. Your doctor will be able to tell you the best time to start and what to give him. Be very careful with actual food, he can choke, even if only a small piece.
