When can i take an hpt????

Ok so I was suppose to start AF on 8/27. It has not come. as of now i am 3 days late. My cycle is very regular every 28 days. I have been having some cramping and backaches. lots of headaches and been more tired than usual. I took a hpt yesterday (day 2 of being late) came back negative. When should i test again.

Hi, there! Totally possible that you ovulated a little later this month. Here's what I would do: Buy a First Response Early Pregnancy Test and test tomorrow with your first morning urine. If you took the previous tests during the day, your urine could have been diluted with water,etc. Your urine is the most potent in the morning.

I tested when i was about 5 wks pregnant and it came back positive. try using first response, they are VERY sensitive and are supposed to let you know 5 days before your missed period. if anything your HCG levels just might be alittle low wich is totally normal in early pregnancy. test again wednesday morning. it will be hard to wait, because that seems like a long time, but hcg level increase daily and by your 7th day being late you would have almost certain results either way. good luck!!

A test on the day of your first missed period is usually pretty accurate. You could have ovulated a little late this month. Wait 2 days and take another test. If that's negative and you are normally regular, see your doctor for a blood test. Sometimes stress can make you late. Good luck!
