When can i take one?

ok so my calculated OV date was 8/20

so when can i take a pregnancy test

besides after my missed period

or

five days before?

The earlier you take a test the less chance there is of it being accurate.

However, if you insist on taking a test before your period is due then I would suggest no sooner than 3 days before using the first urine of the day and a test that is ultra-sensitive, ideally 10hgc no higher than 25hgc (a good test will state the sensitivity on the box).

Best would be wait till you have missed your period. Every woman is different. See if you feel extreme symptoms before you miss your period, then you can test. However, don't think too much if you are preggo or not otherwise your body starts to imagine also :)
