  2. Its sad that Katrina happened however it is up to local government to solve local problems. Why didn't the blame go to the mayor or governor?

    I didn't see the Iowa floods on the news daily nor do I see Brad Pitt or rock bands or rappers helping the people of Iowa out.

    Iowans you are welcome here anytime!

    Still the Iowa people are doing a great job helping themselves and their neighbors and not blaming others!

    I really hope this hurricane doesn't hit new orleans because I don't want more lazy refugees in my texas city....

    Do you realize it wasn't Katrina's winds that killed so many but the neglected levees.

    We need to repair our infrastructure. We've neglected it for way too long.

  13. You don't really believe that, do you. We will Blame Bush for the destruction due to the ammount of time it has taken on the incomplete repairs, not the storm.

  14. No but on the third anniversary of Katrina; Americans are reminded that Bush and McCain ate birthday cake while New Orleans was flooding and citizens left helpless.  

  15. No one blamed Bush for Katina; he was blamed for total incompetence in the aftermath (it was a helluva job, wasn't it).

    The same will be true of Gustav - if he fiddles while NO drowns (again) he deserves to get ripped.
