  1. Not until they are fully fledged.

  2. once the wings in the back start to cross that means you should think about clipping them

  3. My rule of thumb before clipping  ANY birds wings, (which I seldom due) is when they can properly fly and land  about a dozen times.  Then make sure you know which wings to clip and to only clip the first 5 to 7--no more. And do not believe that with clipped wings birds can't fly.  If they are strong, they'll still fly.

  4. When they get most of there feathers they cant have and brown skin showing.

  5. Not until after they are fully fledged.  I would wait for about three months after they are born.  It is safer for them to be able to get used to their wings.

  6. Hello.

By 4 weeks old , most of the feathers grow out to cover their bodies . By 5 weeks old , they will learn to fly . I let them fly for a week or 2 , then I trim their wings because I don't want them to fly high and get hurt or hard to find them since they are so tiny . TM.

  7. Don't try to cut there wings till the parakeet is a little older because that could cause a serious injury
