  1. really if ur just going 2 give them away then why did u even bring them into the world?

oh and the answer is eight weeks

  2. typically eight weeks. you want to make sure that they are able to eat well on their own. after they start eating solid food, and their eyes are open, one to two weeks after that should be ok.

  3. a few months after being born

  4. A minimum of eight weeks is preferred.  During that time, the mother is teaching the kittens all they need to know.  Also, after the second week or so, you can start to touch and handle them for brief periods per day, as human touch will help socialize them.  Gentle handling of course, and don't frighten the mother.  If the kittens sense the mother is scared, they will imprint that pattern.

Kittens go through their socialization period between 2-7 weeks of age. This means that the socialization falls on the breeder. The kittens should be exposed to everything possible from metal food dishes dropping, to vacuums, garage doors opening and closing, thunderstorms, sirens, garbage trucks going past, dogs and other pets, car rides, etc. Do not try to keep the area quiet during the day. The kittens need to get used to normal household noises. Children should be allowed to play with the kittens with supervision. Everything the kittens are exposed to now will help them become well-socialized, unafraid adults. Each kitten should be handled 30-40 minutes a day between 2 and 7 weeks of age. This time should consist of petting, playing, and talking with them. The kittens learn by imitating the queen. They will learn to fear what she fears. They learn to hunt by watching her and then practicing with prey she brings back to the box.

Try to get your adopters to promise to spay or neuter their kittens when they take them.

  5. 8-10 weeks MINIMUM.  Please get your cat spayed as soon as your vet will allow so you do not add to the cat population.  It is a pet owners responsibility to make sure their pets do not create more offspring (there is enough in shelters!).

  6. 8 weeks :)

  7. heyahh

    between 8 to 12 weeks

my cat has a litter at the minuete they are 7 weeks on monday

    1. eating kitten or cat food

    2.strong and healthy

    3.active

    4. litter trained

  8. 6-8 weeks when they are weaned onto solid food and off their mothers milk, and providing they are eating ok then you can find new -homes for them

  9. I've heard eight weeks.

  10. When they are eight weeks old. Any younger than that can hurt their socialness. Like they will bite and not know it hurts and things like that.

  11. It's usually around 6-8 weeks but no harm in leaving them a little longer. :)

  12. They should be a minimum of 8 weeks, 10 to 12 weeks with mom would be better.

  13. 8 weeks is the recommended time but i have known people to find them homes at 6 weeks as long as they can eat solid food at that age

  14. 8 weeks.

I wouldn't bother giving them away, you can sell them at a local pet shop or even charge for them as people willing to really look after animals are willing to fork out money for them from the beginning.

  15. around 8 months after their born...
