  1. I have never heard of any laws and I would keep using them just for the safety reasons...


  2. There are no laws governing this that I know of. Use common sense here. A child 10 and above should be mature enough not to open door of a moving car.

  3. Anytime you feel like it. You are not required to lock the doors for anyone anytime.

    By the way, door locks on cars do not really 'lock' the doors. They do not make them harder to open in a collision. They merely disable the handle(s).

  4. I stopped using mine when the kids graduated from college.  I then found out that one majored in political science ane the other is psychology.  I immediately put them back on......
