Could be transmission slipping. Check your fluid level or have the transmission checked by a mechanic.

sounds like you have a dead spot. change the gas filter and see if that helps.

have the computer scanned on it a bad throttle position sensor will cause this to happen to it,and so will anything  tune up related,even a gas filter will cause this too happen sometimes,having the computer scanned though may give you a trouble code to work with on it,then you,ll know more about whats causing this too happen,on the newer vehicles you cant guess at repairing them,that can get way too expensive most parts stores now will scan it for free and give you the code from the reader then you might know what to do to repair it,good luck with it.

Are you new in driving? Well if your answer is yes then its because you have a automatic transmission. They normally feel that way because the gear shifts on its own. On a standard transmission you control the gears so you can make it go as fast as the car is capable of going. If that isnt the case try some "fuel injector cleaner" that should do the trick
