    It's a part of respiration process.

  3. CO2 given off during the respiration process, diffuses from tissues into thin surrounding blood capillaries. CO2 is then transported in the blood, via carb haemoglobin and in the plasma, to the capillaries surrounding the alveoli of the lung. CO2 diffuses across its concentration gradient into the alveoli, and is then exhaled.

  4. Your body exhales it out of your body.
