  1. Umm... as far as I know, you start off at the beginning, then you count what cards were played (aces, 2s, 3s, 4s, etc.) and you would just keep that up until you saw that the chances of getting a good hand went up high enough, but in the end, it's all luck of the draw. I'm sorry if this didn't help you because, honestly... I just confused myself...

  2. uumm any count starts with one dduuhhh

when counting cards you are either breaking the count into low cards, medium cards or hi cards, (many ways to count cards) or like me you can keep up with all numbers at the same time. this takes practice, but really all it does is help you keep track of the odds of the next card, dont mean your going to win any more money, because it still comes down to how the cards fall....

  3. You always start at zero for a plus/minus count.

Another method of playing blackjack uses a system called the Blackjack Betting Trigger, which is a positive count only. It is much easier to use than full deck/shoe counts and pays off it you use it. Here is a link:

  4. The count always starts with zero for balanced coutning systems

For unbalanced systems, you may start at a negetive count for the purpose of allowing zero to be your pivot point, it is optional though.

If your even asking this question, you shoudl not be tryign to count cards in casinos.
