When caucasian men are mainly attracted to black women, do they get intimidated about asking us out?

I guess it depends on the guy. My husband (white) loves ALL women and has dated a person of almost every race except black. But he grew up in a town in AZ where the black population was almost non-existent. So I think he'd be much more intimidated to go up and ask a black girl out. Although we're married so he's got more reason to be intimidated... Cause I'd kick his *** if he asked out any girl lol.

I don't know what it is. My brother-in-law (husband's brother)used to want to date nothing but black girls but never did and now he's a freaking racist!! I dunno. I think life experience plays a big role.

Also... my other brother-in-law (also husband's brother) used to be a n**i skinhead... who later married a mexican woman and is now with a white woman with two 1/2 black kids. He's come a long way but he's still got a lot of racist issues to work out.

I got the best out of all the brothers lol. My husband has always been actively anti-racist. Which is good because I'm 1/2 korean.

I doubt it.  We can't really generalize here.  Personality is personality.  Some men are cocky and will approach anyone, anywhere, while others take their time.

Yes, because I am a shy guy by nature.  Black women look so beautiful to me, I wonder to myself

1.  What if she doesn't like white guys?

2.  What if she shoots me down and I look like a fool?

3.  What if I freak her out (I live in NYC, and you gotta be careful how you approach women)

I'm not intimidated. If you are smart, funny, and nice I want to get to know you so who cares what color your skin happens to be? It's completely genetic, you have no control over it, so big whoop.

Overall I dated probably 5 or 6 black women. I don't have a "thing" for any one type. They were all STUPENDOUS.

Thanks for lumping us all into one category franco. Yea but I have white men hit on me all the time. I'm s**y, smart, I have good manners, I'm in shape and I respect myself. I think the media in movies portray us in a bad light. Like we all like to be loud, fight at every chance, we can't pay out rent. we have tons of babies and can't feed them. It makes me laugh at times. I have seen so many black women that don't fit that category. People have to open there eyes and see that a handful of bad apples can't make the rest of them look bad:] Make your judgements based on that particular individual not a stereotype. I am a great lover and I treat my man like a king. There is no reason for him to be afraid of me lol. I am a strong black woman but I know how to use the strength and be humble at the same time. I treat others as I would like to be treated. But just keep doing your thing there are tons of men that find black women s**y.

regardless of colour, race or anything I find eyes are the big attraction

therefore by using eye contact one is hardly likely to be intimidated

Some do get intimited some dont . i am a black woman and one day after a meeting during lunch i had a caucasian male approach me and said " i have heard you talk and i figured you must not be african american cause of your accent so i listened to my gut to come up and talk to you . "i told him not only i am married , this is a wrong way to approach a BLACK girl period . some of them feel a bit better around black people but some still takes their distance regarding us , sometimes , not only regarding your race but where you are form also . i have had thousands people said they would rather be friends with a non american one and some just dont care . quite frankly i dont give a d**n . i take a chance to know somebody for who they are not where they re from or what color their skin has . it is time for it to stop. period .
