Can you celebrate with a spike over the goal post at home AND Away games or just at Home(or vice-versa)

Also what do you think this TD celbration i thought up? When a player scores a touchdown (closer to christmas time) he pulls a ribbon out of his sock(or whatever) and ties it around the ball in a bow and throws it into the stands of the home team or maybe gives it to his coach as a joke, What do you think?

  1. It'll be more of an impact at home but I don't think there's a rule or anything.

As for the Christmas celebration idea - awesome!  You might want to have the bows and ribbons pre-made or bows attached to some sort of elastic since it'll be a downer if the WR,RB, etc can't tie a bow fast enough from scratch (since the ball is curved and it'll probably be freezing out,  it might be a challenge).

    Great idea, though!

  2. TD  celebrations are GREEAATT!!!!!!!

  3. Just at home as far as I know. Plus the Idea is awesome I might even try it..........if we make it to the playoffs

  4. celebrations r for cocky ba5tards

  5. Celebrations are just fuel for the other teams fire. They make you look like an idiot and your showing up your opponent. It's classless. My advise is to E-mail that idea to Ocho Cinco, because it is a good one for the NFL.

If you spike it over the goalpost at someone elses home I'd get a security escort out. There's no way you play RB or QB, because you know how the LBs would be gunning for you on this. Thats why this mess is done by WRs and why guys like Barry Sanders and Jerry Rice are so well respected.

I coach High School football and would bench any of my players who tried some garbage like that. Have some class, some respect for the game and your opponent........

  6. Leave the TD celebrations to buffoons like Chad "Ocho Cinco muy malo hablando espanol" Johnson
