When cleaning out a wisdom tooth socket, does fleshy tissue normally flush out?

I had my surgery on Tuesday morning. And the doctors told me to use the syringe 3 days after surgery. I use the syringe to clean the sockets after I eat. I just did that and the food plus fleshy tissue came out. I have a tiny bit of pain but Im hoping that is normal. Have I disrupted the clot? I am so worried about this. I really really do not want a dry socket! I am trying to contact the dentist office but no one is answering! I am really desperate. And please don't tell me what I already know. I want to know if what is happening is normal. or should I be concerned?

  1. If its not bleeding its probably ok you may have some dry sockets which are painful but all they can do is give you some meds and clean them out for that happened to me. sorry
