When cleaning windows?

ime a window cleaner and a good one at that, you have to be really lucky to get me do your house, been at it 7 years now, but yesterday a woman died on me so lost the house, so needed a house to replace it, a woman phoned today asking if i can do her and a neighbours house, i said yes and went do them at £6 each, i did a perfect job on each of the windows, then she kept coming out saying i havent done this and i havent done that, i ended up doing hers 3 times, i had do all the paintwork and the sills as well, took me two hours, i tried to explain to her that i only do the glass, if she wants the frames doing as well then its extra money, she moaned all through it and then said i mite phone me next month if i want them doing again, i said no dont bother because i wont be doing them again anyway, what do they expect for £6?

got 12 new houses 2day anyway so shes been replaced lol.

I think the cost depends on the area you live in and how many windows you have.  I live in a council estate near Newcastle and our window cleaner charges £1.60 if he only does the windows, but it's £2.60 if he does the sills aswell.  He isnt the best window cleaner i have ever had (the best one was the one i lived with for 3 years, lol wink wink) but he is the only one that does this area.  I think £6 is well worth paying for a decent job on a big house.

our window cleaner charges £3 and gives the sills ect a wipe over, your expensive

Hey that woman was just taking the p!ss.

My Mum gets extra paintwork done by the window-cleaner but last time it cost her like £120 for that... which was fair enough.

I'd really tell that woman who gave you only £6 and whined throughout to wake the fck up to the real world.
