  1. after the next hand because the odds change every hand you get if other cards are out of play

  2. You start your count over after each shoe (all decks of cards together) is completed. You keep a running count hand after hand and that is how you base your future bets.

  3. You keep your running tally as you progress through the shoe.  At the end of the shoe when they reshuffle, then you start your count back over. BTW - card counting is not illegal in the US, but it may get you booted from the casino, as they frown on anyone smart enough to beat them and are a private business.

  4. card counting systems measure the effect of cards being removed from the game, they are removed form the game untill they are all shuffle back together.

Now that you knwo what a card coutnig system does, i think you will now know that you only abandon the count when the cards are shuffled since it no longer has any meaning in the game.

Please do not place any bets on a blackjack table until you have a better understanding of what card coutning is and how to gain an edge by doing it.

  5. In blackjack THAT IS ILLEAGAL.
