  1. It means your holding your fork wrong!  You cannot be holding it correctly while cutting between them.  the knife should be perpendicular to the fork tines.


  2. I have to laugh at the obscurity of some of these questions - but this totally takes me back. I had an ex-bf a LONG time ago that used to do this. It totally annoyed me. But, it really works and I find myself doing it occasionally. I think you should cut your meat any way you want to!  :)

  3. It is proper so long as you don't wrap your whole fist around the fork as if you are about to stab the meat with a demolition tool.

  7. As long as it fits there, sure. Just don't hold your fighting utensils like you are ready to beat your food into submission. That's better left to the meat cutter at the market.
