When cycling and rowing is over, what else for Britain? ?

When the cycling and rowing is over, I was wondering if Britain will fall a lot back on the medals table, or are there other things we're good at?

Beth Tweddle in the a-bars gymnastics final, Tom Daley in the 10m diving platform, Ben Ainslie in the sailing (Finn class), the three blondes in a boat (Yngling class), Paula Radcliffe in tomorrow's Marathon to name but a few.  And don't forget Philips Idowu in the triple jump!  

I don't think Beth Tweddle or Tom Daley will come home with a medal but we still have lots of medal hopes.  Don't forget even though the athletics are getting main coverage there are still a lot of lesser known events going on in the background.

Adlington (sp?) is still swimming. Isn't Tennis going on? And BMX is coming up, I'm excited to see that.

Besides the biggies like Track, Gymnastics and Swimming, what else is left?

We're doing OK on the swimming and don't forget athletics, Britain is not a complete write-off yet. Don't be such a defeatist and focus on the positives !

I am pretty sure they are good at other sports, I just can't remember which other sports they are good at.

britain are still in the competition in swimming, addlington's picked up 2 golds so far...im sure they're good at other sports too

we do dominate the cycling and do well in the rowing, and they are our main source of medals

but there is at least 2 silvers are to come from the Sailing, hopefully they will both be gold rather than Silver though

Paula Radcliffe in the Marathon may do the business, Kelly Sotherton in the Heptathalon, Phillips Idowu in the triple jump, christine ohuruogu in the 400m may all get us something
